Do you have a horse-lover in the family who would like nothing better than to have a pony at their party? Do one better - and bring your party to Sun Pony Ranch! We'll provide picnic tables, shade tents if desired and the great view while you provide the refreshments.

Spend an hour picnicing, then spend some time riding horses.

Every summer the Sanchez's invite their grandchildren aged 5 and up to come to "Grandpa's Camp". This year they spent an evening here at Sun Pony Ranch to get camp off to an exciting start.

We assume that these kids have no riding experience - this is not a lesson where we instruct them how to ride. Rather these are pony rides where someone leads the horses around the arena at a walk. We'll trot the horses some if the rider feels secure at that gait. All riders will wear safety helmets.

For kids aged 5 to 14 this can be a party to remember! We will take pictures of each child with their horse if you'd like us to.

Parties all consist of 1 hour of picnic time and a choice of 1 or 2 horses for 1 hour or 1.5 hours. We recommend for a party of 10 children to reserve 2 horses for at least 1 hour.

We also recommend that your party guests meet at another location and come to Sun Pony Ranch together. This will alleviate some of the difficulties of guests arriving late. We will do our best to accommodate parties so that they receive their full allotted picnic and riding time, but a party must begin when the first guest arrives.

All party guests must have a signed waiver to participate in the pony rides. Please download our waiver, have your guests' parents sign them and bring them with you to the party. We expect parties to be accompanied by at least one adult per 5 children to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time!
